Saving the Blue and the Gray

How did historical turning points and conflict shape the birth and development of the United States?

Bellingham Schools Research Investigation

8th Grade

Synthesizing
Think about the best choice using the information you gathered.

The research process does not go in a straight line.  Most times you need to repeat some steps.

Look over your Notes Sheet with a critical eye.

  • Does the information you found lead to you a conclusion about practices that should be changed to preserve life?
  • Do you have enough information and statistical data to make a convincing and persuasive report to the President?
  • Do you have visuals that will strenthen the message in your presentation?

Each team member should complete the Decision Making Sheet to organize their research findings and decide upon the Civil War practices to be changed.

Go to your teacher with evidence that you have completed steps above.
