Links are used to navigate between Web pages you create, go to related sites, send e-mail, or have definition links. Linking is what makes the Web such a powerful tool.
Example:
<A HREF="http://www.australia.com"> Australia </A>
Australia
Note: Review the link naming examples in Organizing Your Site.
If you want readers to jump to a place on the current Web page because the page is long, you must first name the web page area. Position the cursor in front of the area where you want readers to be able to go quickly. ("A" stands for Anchor.)
